As the teams coordinator, I was in charge of getting the group together and to ensure that their works are done. It was rather difficult getting the team together and I resorted to contacting each of them through Facebook. With a group chat functioning extremely well, we decided to share whatever relevant information with each other there. It was much more effective and information was passed around much more efficiently.
I was the only team member to have a wide range of knowledge in the K-pop aspects. As such, I was always feeding artistes and interesting videos to my team members to post onto our Facebook page. I also took charge of publicity for our Facebook page. I continuously spread the link to the Facebook page with my peers to make them like the page and encouraged them to spread the link. To add on to this, I closely monitored the activities happening on the page.
With this, I have learned the breakdown of maintaining and team and the need to look for alternatives should problems arise.
Preparing for the tasks didn't take much time and was quickly completed with my teams efficiency and effort.
With this being one of the last few tasks we have as a team, I'd like to thank them for their hard work.
THANK YOU HARRISON, WAYNE AND EIFONG! ^~^V

Before CA2 starts, I created the facebook page for Kpop Idol Spree. Additionally, I also create a
header for Kpop Idol Spree. I also create a poster(lucky draw) for Kpop Idol Spree. As for the presentation slides, I also edit the content inside the slides. The painful part of the slides is the Facebook insights. I have to screenshot and paste into the slides. It was tedious.
There are some problems I faced in the project. Firstly, as a group, we need to get our facts(receive limited facts from the owner of Kpop Idol Spree) correct. Secondly, I believe communication is very important in this project. Without communication, it will cause some misunderstanding in terms of facts and campaign (posting post in facebook, marketing strategies, etc)

Thank you for reading!
During the course of the SMM. I feel that practical three was the one that I put most effort into. The initial research on case studies of use of social media took some time. I researched about HMV's main branch and then subsequently to the branches located in Asia. In addition I had to make observations about HMV's facebook page as they had one for the main HMV branch and one for HMV Singapore.
The task took a week to complete as we studied the various content released by the admin and record their frequency of post.
Some problems faced when doing the practical was that me and my partner found out the main branch's page and the local Singapore page had a significant difference between allowing public post and comments.
The Singapore branch restricted user from directly posting comments and made it had for us to determine the way the company response to user.
During our campaigning period we also spent quite some time to farm for likes and to spread our page to increase the company's awareness to the public. Some difficulties face with our company was it did not have a strong foundation(no name company) and so it was hard to start from scratch to spread the name.

I was mainly responsible for updating the Facebook page with the videos and information such as new videos and some of the classical K-Pop videos and e.g.. It was dated around the month of January. Some of the major stuffs that I did was the question poll and the promotional sales on Facebook. One problem encountered was the prices of the promotional sales. One thing that I would have done better is the promotional strategies, like planning out more efficient marketing strategies.

Collaboration with a blogshop. [Anson]
I've just e-mailed my friend regarding working on promoting her blogshop.
Her blogshop has been on hiatus for the past year or so and she has been thinking of re-opening it. However, because it's been on hiatus for such a period, she told me that she worries that her flow of customers may have faltered and, as such, I proposed to help her out through the use of social media marketing.
The following is the e-mail I sent her.
Hello Faith!
How's your blogshop re-opening coming along? ^^ I know that it's been about a year since the last time your blogshop was open and I have an idea that could help you re-gain your customers.
I'm currently taking a module called Social Media Marketing which aims to help clients create awareness for their products through the use of social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook and, as such, I was thinking that my group and I could work together with you. If you allow us to help you, rest assured that we will definitely work closely with you to ensure that everything will be done under your instructions and that your decisions will be held at our highest priorities. This way, it would be a win-win situation for the both of us. ^~^
I look forward to your favourable reply soon! Thank you and have a nice day!
Yours sincerely,
Anson Seow

I'm currently waiting for her reply on her thoughts of collaborating with us.

No news is BAD news but..
Until now, I received no email from the previous two companies.
Luckily, I was prepared. Today, at about 6pm or so, I was heading to a food court opposite my house. Then, I saw a small local shop that sells soya bean. I went inside the shop because I thought it was a newly open shop. When I was a shop, I saw an old uncle smiling at me and asking what I want. At the point of time, I was thirsty so I brought a cup of soya bean. On the way, I asked the Uncle whether he wants to promote his product through social media platform. (Explained lots of stuffs, why are we doing this, how are we going to do it, etc) He declined and told me he has a great volume of customers coming in everyday. Additionally, he told me that he could not handle it because he was a computer idiot. He told me that he was old and he could not handle the large volume of customers if his product is promoted. (He is the only person works in the soya bean shop)
After he told me his reasons, I respect his decision.
I walked and waved him as I carried another cup of soya bean for my brother. :D
